Client Plan Sponsor and Advisor/Consultant Experience Roundtable


The Roundtable provides a forum for members to exchange views and to collaborate on strategies that sustain the desirable experience and relationships that underpin the effectiveness of the retirement system in the United States. Collaboration takes place at four levels:

  • Client Relationship Management
  • Advisor/Consultant Relationship Management
  • Strategic Account Management
  • Digital Client Experience

The group fulfills its mission statement through an annual in-person meeting, four series of virtual meetings, opinion gathering, stakeholder research, position formulation, publication, sharing and promotion through the 401(k) listening post

2021 Program

  • Input into Roundtable activities at a planning and naming committee
  • Access to (and listening in) the EACH Enterprise online retirement plan community using the Hivebrite app (access to roster of contact among other benefits)
  • Client Relationship Management Sentiment Survey and Report (2 during the year)
  • 4 employer polls ($14,000 sample budget) in collaboration with the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network (WEB)
  • Two viewpoint papers on strategic industry issues based on committee deliberations
  • Creation and maintenance of the 401(k)-listening post LinkedIn page
  • Creation and maintenance of the 401(k)-listening post Website
  • Posting of surveys and reports on the 401(k)-listening post LinkedIn page and website
  • Your company logo and positioning statement on the website of the 401(k) listening post
  • 18 one-hour online meetings
    • 6 for heads of Client Relationship Management
    • 6 for heads of Strategic Account Management
    • 6 for heads of Digital Client / Advisor Experience and Marketing
    • 3 for heads of Advisor/Consultant Relationship Management
  • 1 in-person meeting in September 2021 (3 tracks and 3 registrations per company)
  • Other activities as budget allows and membership needs evolve
