  Description: Post-conversion surveys are critical to evaluating both the internal processes and the degree of success achieved in meeting the new client’s expectations. We will discuss the best practices of conducting the surveys and the most efficient way to share the gathered information.

Description: We will discuss both the inbound and outbound perspectives, including vetting solutions offered; Who assists in this effort (inbound); How much is discovered during RFP/sales process; Post liquidation methods (unallocated accounts vs. ppt level reporting); Who’s responsibility is it to cover/discuss this topic/what’s the role of the recordkeeper, legal, the client.

BREAKOUT 7 THE VERBAL ARMS RACE IN SALES PRESENTATIONS
  Track: Payroll Teams
  Damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. In the absence of a team member at the finalist presentation, clients may be offered payroll integration without a clear understanding of client needs or expectations. On the other hand, participation in every finalist presentation is impossible and not a good use of staff time or travel expenses. We will discuss ways to impact client expectations in the sales process even when in-person participation is impossible.

  Data mapping software tools come in a range of flavors, for users with varying degrees of coding proficiency. Some systems are homegrown, others rely on tools developed by third parties. A panel of practitioners will discuss pros and cons of each category of tools.

  At this session, we will review results of a survey of 200 plan sponsors regarding the level of payroll integration at their firm and discuss discrepancies between perceptions and reality to identify areas where the industry needs to set realistic expectations.
